Believe Christmas Card

Believe Christmas Card

As Santa reads to a group of children, one small boy wonders "Is this guy for real?" In every childhood, there comes the moment we ask ourselves this question. Inside states simply to "Believe". Produced exclusively for us by Link Art Ink.

This lighthearted card depicts sweet innocence from the point of view of a child. A great choice for people who work with children, or enjoy a whimsical Christmas card. Ideal for those who need to be reminded of the magic of Christmas.

This is the inaugural season of Link Art Ink, a card company designed to give you alternative choices to the same old blah, uninspired cards you see in the grocery store. We certainly didn't want to charge you any more, though. You get free shipping, you choose the envelope color and pay very reasonable prices for unique, high quality cards that your friends and family haven't seen a thousand times already! You choose the quantity. Order 1 or 1000. The more you order, the more you save.

Our goal is to give a venue to some of the fabulous starving artists Chicago has to offer. We want to link artists through ink. We offer innovative and interesting cards. Funny cards that aren't insulting or low-brow. Cards that are worth a second look including the backs of the cards. Link Art Ink uses all the real estate available on every card. Be sure to check out the backs for even more to the story.

Christmas Cat Story Card

Christmas Cat Card

A black cat has crossed the path of a Christmas tree. She approaches her favorite window ledge, only to discover her view is blocked. By panel three, the problem is solved as she knocks the tree over to reveal a shining star to wish upon.

Artist P. Dunne has delightfully illustrated this Christmas card to tell a story in three panels. Send this card to the animal lovers on your list. Perfect for those looking for a very unique card to share.

Artist P. Dunne is a Chicago resident who works mainly in ballpoint pen, sometimes adding ink, whiteout, and/or highlighter, on envelopes (or) chipboard. I use general office supplies to create them, rather than the expected, traditional "art" supplies.

Why do them? "They're a habit, and they give my hands something to do. I've always drawn when given a spare minute (and) a pen. Sometimes the work reveals truths I wasn't expecting. Sometimes I do it just to amuse or shock or kid; sometimes to just explore and enjoy odd or unsettling beauty, however that is defined."

P. Dunne's work has been shown in Chicago, Houston, and Dallas.
